The trap most content programs fall into
Content programs that measure themselves in "posts shipped" or "organic sessions" almost always drift toward top-of-funnel volume - cheap traffic that never converts. We've inherited dozens of these programs. The playbook is always the same: cut the volume, deepen the pieces, aim at buyer-intent queries, and re-tie the whole system to pipeline.
Six months later the traffic graph looks flatter and the pipeline graph looks like a hockey stick. That's the trade - fewer readers, more customers.
