Why most email programs quietly die
Most programs start well and rot slowly. The founder or CMO sends a great launch email, subscribers open it, revenue looks strong. Then someone starts sending twice a week to keep numbers up, unsubscribes climb, sender reputation slips, and within a year deliverability is broken and revenue-per-email is a fraction of what it was.
The fix is discipline. Send less to unengaged segments, send more to hot ones, treat the list like a customer base - not an audience - and monitor deliverability the way an ops team monitors uptime.
